This is a group of volunteer patients, carers and surgery staff who meet regularly to discuss and support the running of the surgery.
Our Patient Participation Group looks at the services offered, patient experience and how improvements can be made for the benefit of everyone.
Each Patient Participation Group is different, but they all have the aim of making sure that the surgery puts the patient, and improving health, at the heart of everything it does.
Aims of the Group
1. To facilitate good relations between the GP Practice and patients.
2. To work collaboratively and positively with the Practice to improve services and facilities for patients.
3. To act as a sounding board for Practice staff on issues affecting patients.
4. To build effective two-way communication and co-operation between the Practice and patients, other individuals, organisations in healthcare, and those within the practice boundary.
5. To support the Practice, GP’s and other staff at Wychbury to bring about positive change at Wychbury Medical Group and in the wider NHS services.
The members of the Wychbury Medical Group Patient Participation Group are ordinary patients at either Wychbury, Chapel House or Cradley Road surgeries. We are volunteers and we meet on a regular basis to try to help our practice improve. Join us if you feel you could help.
